wallace from maryland sent in this picture of a creature he discovered in his attic in april of 1981.
"me and my brother loved to play in the attic on rainy days and one spring when i was thirteen, i found this creature in a dark corner. it was already quite dead and smelled awful. my brother thought it was a bat but it doesn't look like any bat i've ever seen. i kept it in a shoe box until it dried out. eventually it decomposed too much and when my mom found it she made me throw it out, but not before i took a picture of it. the animal wasn't this pale when i first found it, though."
