"Jesus appears in a tree"

in January of 2002, Jesus appeared in the most unlikely of places, in the base of a tree. Ella Huffin of Milwaukee looked over her backyard one day and discovered the image of Jesus holding a small child peering back at her. Since then, neighbors, strangers, and reporters have flocked to her backyard to behold this miracle. some unbelievers don't see it at first, but eventually most people are able to make out the image.

the tree is a humble one, as is its owner. she only wants to spread the joy that such signs bring with anyone who wants to experience the image of Christ for themselves. why did he choose this yard, this tree? why choose to appear in a tree at all?

this isn't the only Jesus sighting. in 1992 the image of Jesus on the cross was discovered in another tree - a sycamore in New Haven, CT. in 1991, Jesus was spotted in a Pizza Hut billboard in Atlanta, among strands of spagetti. Not everyone believed it was a divine sign, many people swore the image was, in fact, Willie Nelson. in 1989 in Houston, Jesus appeared in the reflections of a linoleum table top in a private home. in 1987, Jesus was seen on the chimey of a bowling alley near Chicago. Jesus was also found on the side of an soybean oil tank in Ohip in 1986, a garage door in California in 1981, and of course appeared in a tortilla in 1978 in New Mexico. no one can say why these sightings persist or exactly what they mean but one thing is certain - the big guy has a sense of humor.
