All of Florida is in denial of the truth about a local creature that kills indiscriminantly and without remorse. It also is the only animal that kills just because it wants to kill. The Manatee has had many lies contrived about it. One, textbooks will tell you that their scars are made by accidental collisions with fishing boats, but the marks on their backs are actually made from fierce battles with other manatees that last for hours and always end in one of the manatees dying.

Now in truth some of the marks are made by boats, not from the boaters running over them accidentally, but from the manatee going after the boats trying to get another taste of human flesh which they seem to favor most. All the residents of Florida live in a quiet, uneasy fear that the residents are forced to keep inside without ever speaking it.

A few of the standardized living planned communities actually sacrificed some of their residents and the unluckily homeless people who rarely happen by. Entire cruise ships have been slowly attacked, sank and ravaged by these ferocious creatures. And yet because of a secret pact I still don't completely understand, Floridians remain silent.

We have obtained some rare photographs of these terrifying creatures in the act of attacking boats in Florida and offer them as proof that the seemingly gentle manatee is in fact a fierce killer. Next time you are tempted to go into the water, remember these horrifying images.
